Congratulations!!! The 51st Asian Pacific Film Festival Held in Taiwan

Yesterday was the day I had been anticipating for several weeks, that is, the 51st Asian Pacific Film Festival. After eight years, the festival was held in Taiwan again. It ignites many hearts. It offers a good chance to show Taiwan to the world. Actually, what attracted me to see this ceremony at first was not whether someone received awards or not, but the stars. This year, the main sponsor invited several famous Korean stars to deliver awards and to perform. There was a group I was crazy about, that is TVXQ. I was too excited to keep my eyes from the screen. Their performance without doubt was excellent. I regretted that I didn’t go to see them walking on the stars road. If I knew the festival was held in Banqiao, I would be desperate to go there. (I thought it was impossible to have it take place there.) They left early this morning. I was wondering when they would come again….Orz

There was one thing I had to say. Beside the stars, my horizon had enbroadened too. How come? I saw many films were amazing. They’re made by some countries we’re unfamiliar, such as Iran, but their levels were not inferior to the Hollywood films. However, we rarely had the opportunity to see those films appear in the theater. The reason was simple. The film world had been occupied and stereotyped, you know, and then people were taught to evaluate a movie in dichotomy and in a way that films from where were good, if not, were bad. It was miserable. Every film had its idea to express, which could not be judged by the same criteria. Thus, it was why there were so many different film ceremonies held in different countries. They wanted people to hear their voices so as to change their misleading concept. There is still a long way to go.
